Banana and carrot bread

I love coming up with my own recipes or adapting ones I have tried previously. The following recipe is my carrot muffin recipe which I adapted to bake as a loaf.

1 1/2 cups of flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
50 ml oatmeal
1/2 cup of oil
2 eggs
2 medium bananas
1/2 cup grated carrots

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees Celsius.
Whisk all the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
Add carrots to dry ingredients and use a fork to mix with flour.
Mash the bananas and add whisked eggs and oil to it.
Pour into flour and mix with care, without beating.
The result will be a stiff but moist batter.
Pour into a prepared loaf pan and bake for approximately 1 hour or until a knife comes out clean.
